Review by hotel critic
The cabin was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the marvelous view of the ocean, sky, and mountains was truly magical. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, offering great tips on nearby hikes and activities.Exploring the area in late May was a treat, with the spring just starting to bloom. The landscape in Vesteralen is slightly less rugged than Lofoten but still offers stunning views. We even had a close encounter with wildlife, like an Elk and a hare, adding to the charm of the place. The midnight sun casting its glow over the fjord was a sight to behold. What stood out to us was the location of Fjordcamp, nestled on the coast of a fjord with breathtaking views. Each cottage had a well-equipped kitchen, allowing us to cook our meals and enjoy cozy evenings in. The vast and less touristic landscape compared to the Lofoten Islands made our experience more tranquil and immersive.Fjordcamp offered a peaceful retreat with beautiful scenery, warm hospitality, and opportunities for outdoor activities like fishing and hiking. I would highly recommend this place for nature lovers looking to escape the crowds and immerse themselves in the untouched beauty of Norway's coastline. Can't wait to return with my fellow nature enthusiasts for another unforgettable experience!
